Working on these cookies as part of a collaborative art piece/picnic basket with Coulter Brooks at Patina Gallery (Santa Fe, NM) to benefit The Nature Concervancy and the Santa Fe Farmers’ Market. I’m making a series of native New Mexican crops (such as green chiles, corn, melons..) The ants may still need tweaking in my opinion…

Aw yeah! Sugarbuilt had the pleasure of collaborating with Dark Igloo to illustrate the Michael Pollan piece in the new issue of Lucky Peach. This recently created print magazine is a snazzy food quarterly, presented by David Chang, Peter Meehan and published by McSweeny’s. Michael Pollan is a personal hero so it was an absolute thrill to read this interview and help illustrate it. It is only found in the print medium, so hightail it over to a paper objects retailer and plant your eyeballs on this mustread!
